A 15-year-old boy reported missing in Canton Township was found safe Friday morning, Oct. 16, police said, according to an update from Patch.
Canton police had asked the public for help locating the teen after he was last seen around 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, near Canton Center and Joy roads.
The boy had left the area on foot, police said in the original alert, which was also reported by ClickOnDetroit. Police circulated his description and asked anyone who had seen him to contact the department.
Patch’s Friday update said he was safe but did not describe where or how he was found.
