Forever After Productions opens "Finding Neverland, The Musical" at the Jack Wilcox Theater inside PARC on Thursday, July 30, giving Plymouth residents six chances to catch the family-friendly show before it closes Sunday, August 2.
The production runs four days. Evening performances begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31. Saturday, August 1, offers a 2 p.m. matinee and a 7 p.m. show. The final day, Sunday, August 2, has performances at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $17 and are available at iheartforeverafter.com, according to the company's Instagram page.
The musical tells the story of J.M. Barrie and the family that inspired him to create Peter Pan. It follows the playwright's journey from struggling London dramatist to the creator of one of the most beloved children's stories ever staged.
Second main-stage show this summer
Finding Neverland marks the second production this summer for Forever After Productions, a Plymouth-based theater company headquartered inside the PARC building at 650 Church St., Suite 107. The company's previous show, "Tuck Everlasting," opened Friday, July 10, at the same venue, according to the company's Instagram page.
The organization also held auditions for "Trolls Jr." on Monday, July 20, and Tuesday, July 21, pointing to at least one more production in the pipeline this summer.
