Canton Public Library hosts a Literary Ghost Walk on Friday, Oct. 23, and a Monster Mash dance party for young children on Friday, Oct. 30.

The library announced both events in its fall "Haunted Happenings" guide, published Thursday, Oct. 1. The Ghost Walk, billed as "I Read Dead People," is a returning program, though the library has not yet posted a detailed event listing with times or registration information.

The Monster Mash is open to children from birth to age 5 and their caregivers. The library described it as its annual dance party featuring dancing, a simple craft and trick-or-treating around the library. No registration is required, and costumes are encouraged.

The library is at 1200 S. Canton Center Road. Residents can check the library's online calendar for updated times and details. The Ghost Walk does not yet have a full event listing.
