Canton's Village Theater at Cherry Hill will open its 2026-2027 season with a live concert celebrating the music of 1971.
The township announced the full lineup in a season release on Sept. 22. The schedule runs from October through 2027 and includes tribute acts, a holiday tour, a magician, and a returning circus troupe.
The season opens Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2, with "Experience the Music of 1971, A Journey Through the Iconic Year Live in Concert." Conceived by Billy Harrington and The Brothers Harrington, the show features a live band and horn section covering Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, The Who, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Rod Stewart and Elton John.
October also brings an Elvis tribute show on Thursday, Oct. 22, and magician Aaron Radatz with a Halloween-themed performance on Friday, Oct. 30. The 32nd Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition opens at the Gallery at Cherry Hill the same month, with a reception on Thursday, Oct. 8.
Fleetwood Gold, a Fleetwood Mac tribute act returning for a sixth straight year, plays Friday, Nov. 6.
The biggest name on the calendar is Steven Page, co-founder and former vocalist of the Barenaked Ladies. Page and his trio, featuring cellist Kevin Fox and guitarist Craig Northey of Odds, will play Sunday, Nov. 22, as the opening date of their "Steven's Greetings Tour." The set will draw from Page's upcoming holiday album, also called "Steven's Greetings," alongside Barenaked Ladies hits like "If I Had a Million Dollars" and "It's All Been Done."
Page was with the Barenaked Ladies until 2009. The band sold more than 15 million albums, won multiple Juno Awards and earned two Grammy nominations.
Brass Transit, a Chicago tribute band formed in 2008, brings its "A Rockin' Christmas" show to the theater on Friday, Dec. 11. The group's repertoire covers Chicago staples such as "Saturday in the Park" and "25 or 6 to 4."
New Year's Eve belongs to the Circus of Detroit, formerly the Detroit Circus, returning to the Village Theater stage. The family-friendly show features trapeze, fire-dancing, stilt walking and acrobatics, followed by a kid-friendly countdown to 2027.
The 2027 calendar includes Hotel California, an Eagles tribute act that has been performing for more than three decades.
