Kellogg Park transforms into a daylong celebration Saturday, Sept. 26, when Downtown Day brings free live music, a scavenger hunt, kids' activities and shopping deals to the heart of Plymouth.
The Downtown Plymouth DDA announced the event runs across Kellogg Park and the surrounding downtown district. The DDA recommends visitors check its Downtown Day 2026 webpage for the latest schedule, as posted times vary across platforms. Downtown Day joins communities across Michigan in celebrating their downtown districts, according to the DDA.
Singer-songwriter DL Turner & Friends will perform live in Kellogg Park. Expect strolling entertainment between sets.
Kids and families have plenty to do. The lineup includes DIY crafts, face painting, live Pokémon trading, STEM activities and mindful movement demonstrations.
The DTP Scavenger Hunt sends visitors into participating shops to find hidden DTP Tokens. Collectors bring their tokens to the DDA tent in Kellogg Park and redeem them for prizes. Several downtown businesses will also run special discounts and promotions throughout the day.
Downtown Day shares the calendar with two other events downtown. The Plymouth Community Farmer's Market runs 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Gathering, and the Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce's Scarecrows in the Park display remains up in Kellogg Park through Nov. 2.
