Trick-or-treating in the City of Plymouth is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, according to an official city announcement.
The announcement covers the City of Plymouth. Residents of Plymouth Township and Canton Township should check their own township’s guidance.
Safety for walkers and drivers
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration advises drivers to slow down and watch for children, who may enter the street unexpectedly.
People walking should travel with others, follow traffic signals and cross at intersections or crosswalks when possible. Before crossing, check for vehicles coming from every direction, including turning traffic, the agency advises.
Scarecrows remain in Kellogg Park
Families can also visit the seasonal scarecrow display in downtown Plymouth’s Kellogg Park.
The Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce lists Scarecrows in the Park as running through Monday, Nov. 2. The outdoor display is available around the clock.
